Advertising and Public Relations industry thrives on creativity and

demands and challenges.
The curriculum of the one-year Post Graduate course in Advertising and
Public Relations at Pran's Media Institute has been designed to equip the
students with the skills required in the field. The Diploma course
Advertising & Public Relations covers key aspects of the subject such
creative visualization, theories of communication, principles of
advertising, core marketing concepts and brand management models,
advertising strategy, market research media planning, Public Relations and
Corporate Communications. Workshops and case studies are used to impart to
students a deeper perspective and insight into all aspects of the subject.
The course in Public Relations targets to give the students a feel of the
real work with mock Press Conference workshops, case studies by
practitioners in the field. The Advertising & Public Relations diploma
students are also trained in presentation skills and business communication
and life skills such as stress management, self-awareness, teamwork and
leadership.
The curriculum of the Diploma course in Advertising and Public Relations
includes developing mock presentations; pitching, besides classroom
lectures. Students are thereby oriented to develop appropriate sense of
questioning, locating key information and evolving creative and effective
communication solutions. The Advertising &Public Relations diploma
course students are made to work on diverse projects like designing of
posters and layouts, exhibition, planning a seminar and more.
The methodology followed here is different from other courses in
Advertising and other courses in Public Relations. Our teachers work as
guides through the whole process sharing observations and giving valuable
feedback to help the students correct themselves. All these efforts are made
to ensure that the students pursuing the diploma course in Advertising and
Public Relations become confident and adapt to challenges, not only in the
workplace but also in their life.
